Questions for our Commissioners

At what point did elected officials forget that they work FOR US?

Health Questions: 

  • How can we ensure that our children will be protected? 

  • Have any studies been done to show the potential health impacts this could have on the children and faculty of Saddle View Elementary School and the surrounding Arden neighborhood?

  • Are there safety plans in place if something detrimental were to happen near Saddle View Elementary School? 

  • How can we ensure that our homes will be protected? 

  • How will living next to an AI Data Center affect quality of life?

  • Have any studies been done for our particular area and the effects of noise pollution on human health? 

  • Can anything be done to mitigate the release of toxins into the air? 


Environmental Questions: 

  • Where will the power come from and how much will be used?

  • Where will the water come from and how much will be used? 

  • Have any studies been done to show the potential impact of draining 1.7 Million gallons of water per month? 

  • How will this impact the Floridan Aquifer? 

  • Are there environmental safety plans in place if something detrimental happened? 

  • If something happened that ultimately harmed the environment, who would be held accountable? 

  • Will this affect our already fragile ecosystems? 

Economic Questions: 

  • How much of an electricity rate hike would we see if Project Tango was completed?

  • Would living next to an AI Data Center affect property values?

  • How many jobs would the data center provide once completed?

  • Why is an out of state construction company being used versus local? 

  • Could tax breaks given to developers lead to a reduction in tax revenue for public needs such as schools and roads? 

  • How much sales tax revenue will be lost, due to the tax breaks given to the developers to enable them to not pay sales taxes on construction materials, computer servers, and other furnishings required to run a large scale AI Data Center? 

  • How much tax revenue will be lost by allowing the data center operators to pay ZERO taxes on ALL of the electricity they consume?

  • Why is PBA Holdings lobbying for multi-million dollar tax breaks for Data Centers through the Florida Legislature? 

  • Why are companies allowed to donate to politicians and political parties in order to get their projects approved and passed? 

  • Why did PBA Holdings donate $10,000 to Palm Beach County Mayor Sara Baxter?
